The VR Police Network and the SHOTPROS project are hosting the final conference “VR for Police: Drive the police into the future” from 14th – 15th September 2022 in Ranst, Belgium at the premises of Campus Vesta. Save the date, learn more about Virtual Reality (VR) in the police context and experience the technology by yourself at the conference.
The H2020 project SHOTPROS has started in 2019 to investigate and develop innovative training for European police officers enhanced by Virtual Reality (VR). In the first half of 2022, the results were presented and demonstrated on a roadshow across Europe.
Now, as the project is approaching its end, SHOTPROS and the VR Police Network are hosting the final conference “VR for Police: Drive the police into the future” to share results and outlooks on the topic of VR police training and beyond. The aim of the two-day conference is to engage police practitioners, researchers, policy-makers, technology developers and others in sharing their results, experiences, visions and innovations in the broad field of virtual reality in the context of policing on a European level.
The conference is also the official kick-off event of the VR Police Network. We aim to create long-term collaborations and synergies for the further implementation of VR in police contexts in Europe. Use this opportunity to become part of the network à https://vrandpolice.eu/join/
Please fill out the registration form if you are interested in attending the conference – we will process the registration within 3-5 business days and send you a confirmation mail. For the preliminary program click here.
