Data protection 

Your personal date is processed on the basis of the legal regulations TKG 2003 and DSGVO (EU) 2016/679. This privacy statement explains the most important aspects about the data collection through our website.  

Definition of terms 

“Personal data” is defined as all data that can relate to you personally, such as your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address or photo.  

Contact 

If you contact us via e-mail or contact form, we save the data provided by you in order to process your request or email. We will not share this information unless you give explicit consent.  

Purpose of gathering data 

The purpose of gathering data is to collect information about the users of this website and your interest. This way we can customize and improve our website. The information is only used as described in this privacy statement, and/or the manner that will be indicated at the time of the collections, such as during events or webinars. We use your personal information for the following purpose: 

  • To send out newsletters and other information that may interest you 
  • To provide information about events 
  • To provide requested services, in particular to receive and process your inquiry or registration 
  • To contact you and to respond to your inquiries 
  • To support recruiting request 

Members

The information that members provide to the website will be kept confidential. We need the e-mail address to send information to members pertaining their account on the website. Information such as the first and last name will be used to address you in emails, facilitate inquiries and do a security check if necessary. Information on the motivation to your and the interest will be used to decide the focus and contents of this website.

Newsletter 

You can subscribe to the newsletter on this website. In order to do so, we need the e-mail address to which the newsletter is to be sent. Further information will be used to address you personally in the newsletter or facilitate inquiries. After your registration we will use your data to send a confirmation mail. We are using “cleverreach” for the newsletter.  

Your consent can be revoked at any time by cancelling your subscription to the newsletter. You can revoke by sending an e-mail to info@vrandpolice.eu. We will immediately delete your data associated with the newsletter distribution.  

Cookies 

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer when you visit this website. There are multiple types of cookies. Session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser, while permanent cookies are stored beyond individual sessions. You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us. We hope for your understanding because in case of an inquiry submitted to us other than in writing we will most probably request proof from you in such a situation in order to confirm that you are actually the person you claim to be. 

You also have the right to adjust or to delete or to limit procession of your data to an extent legally allowed. Moreover, you have the right to object against procession of your data to an extent permitted by law. The same can be said about the right to data portability. Any submission on data disclosure, deletion, correction, objection and / or data portability, in the latter case unless this does not generate any disproportional efforts, can be addressed to the e-mail address: info@vrandpolice.eu 

Furthermore, you have the right to apply to a data protection authority with complaints concerning how your personal data is processed by us.
